A centrally accessible historical location
Our location is situated in central Netherlands, in the beautiful area of river Krommerijn, in the midst of a fruit area known as the Betuwe and the Utrecht hills (Utrechtse Heuvelrug). Only 15 car minutes away from the city of Utrecht, our guests experience a soothing silence here, only to be broken by the singing of birds.
It is a historical place, right at the borders of the Limes, the ancient Roman Empire. Historical too, because this is the last cloistered priory that was built in the Netherlands following the old rules and regulations of the Catholic Church. Our building is known in the area under her former name: priorij Gods Werkhof.
The building is surrounded by 4 hectares of English landscape garden with beautiful sightlines. Because of the large variety of trees and atmospheres a lot of our clients make our garden part of the structure of their programmes.
The building itself is a so called municipal monument. Our light and wide corridors and the abundant views from each conference room and nearly all guestrooms are unique. Wherever you are, you will have views of either the garden or the surroundings.
